Why did I choose Ajin as a starter? What stood out to me about Ajin was its art. For many mangaka, the art begins somewhat immature and the artist hones their skills throughout the serialization. This is a personal project based off the manga Ajin: Demi-Human by Gamon Sakurai. I don't read much manga, but I loved the incredibly detailed art and engaging storyline. In it there's a highly trained special forces group created to fight humans that possess incredible regenerative abilities and can't die. When I saw them I just knew I had to work on them, and I hope I managed to capture some.
